Shopping for the perfect Christmas tree and decorating it is a fun tradition for many families. But between buying the tree and decorating it is a step nobody enjoys -- putting the tree in the stand and trying to get it straight.

This year you don’t have to crawl around under the tree, tightening the screws while trying to avoid getting scratched by needles. Lavalette Nursery will put your tree in its E-Z Up drill stand.

All fresh-cut Christmas trees sold by Lavalette are mounted in the stand before leaving the lot. But even if you buy a tree elsewhere, you can bring it to Lavalette and have it put in the stand. Lavalette will also deliver it and set it up in your home.

Lavalette will drill a hole in the center of the cut tree’s trunk, which fits securely in the stand to hold your tree upright. The E-Z Up stand is reusable -- just bring it back to Lavalette next year for a repeat of the process.
