Winter's Fire:
Ice Angels Camellia

We're always looking for flowers that either bloom very early or very late, to extend the season. This plant is certainly a late bloomer -- this photograph was snapped outside here in Huntington on December 2!

The new Ice Angels series extends the timeless beauty of camellias beyond their traditional range. The plant is evergreen and the flowers are semi-double and reddish pink, blooming from November through January.

The small shrub from Monrovia grows to 3 or 4 feet tall and prefers filtered sun. They're hardy to temperatures of -10 degrees F.
